Hello!
It’s Lindsey here – coming at you after another busy week.
In the run up to Black Friday, things have felt a little strange for me, like the whole world is on pause until then, you know? It’s giving Millennium Bug vibes.
Do you have anything on your wish list? I’ve made a vow to myself to only purchase things I really need, but often a few treats sneak in.
In other news, I can’t stop thinking about blue, red and green colour schemes. After being made to wear a green and red uniform at school, I swore never to pair green and red together, but recently my Pinterest is full of it.

My obsession with cottage-core continues; if you find comfort in a country garden then you have to give @monalgue on TikTok a follow. Her garden through the season’s videos are life changing.
This salmon pink shelving stopped me dead in my tracks; I’m very into @mavrouwstyling and can see aspects of my own home in her interior designs (although mine is less polished, I must say). If you like minimal and colourful interiors then give her a follow instantly.
Saturn Returns with Caggie is my favourite podcast; the lastest episode with Donna Lancaster, about the body’s wisdom and somatic healing, gives so much food for thought and Caggie’s laugh is one of the most infectious laughs I’ve ever heard; it never fails to make me giggle.

I didn’t think a good-looking door stop existed until now, this gold Chadwick Staffordshire dog from Oliver Bonas is nothing short of delightful. Consider my door always open (thanks to this little guy).

Chadwick Staffordshire dog gold metal doorstop – Oliver Bonas £25
These metal lamps from H&M have been taking up space in my head for some time now, they’re so pretty. The fact it now comes in pink – prayers answered.

Metal table lamp – H&M £27.99
I can’t believe how attractive this side table is; it looks like it’s been crafted from Tadelakt. The curvature is a work of art.

Isobel sideboard – Urban Outfitters £439
I can’t properly explain why I love this plate so much, I just do. It looks as though it’s been thrown together, almost like an afterthought, which is what makes it so charming.

Stoneware plate – ARKET £15
Move over every other cup and saucer in the cupboard because THIS is the only thing I want to be drinking tea from for the rest of my life. How. Cute.

Floral hand painted mug – Etsy £30.05
I’m not usually a fan of art with people in it, but this has won me over. The colour scheme is so attractive and I love how it’s called Look at my Vase.

Look at my Vase – Glassette £40
If you know me, you’ll know how much I love a tea towel. It’s such a funny piece of homeware, dusting cloths wouldn’t get the same attention, but a great opportunity to add some fun in your kitchen or even something sentimental. Hands up if a family member has one with a holiday town on it.

Amuse Le Bouche Rosso Tea Towels – Glassette £28
If you want to keep in touch with me durning the week then don’t forget to follow me over on Instagram and on TikTok – I’m @lindsey_isla – and I also write for Wear Next if you want more to read!
