As an adult, my interest in the weird, wacky and wonderful has peaked: star signs, astrology, tarot; you name it, I love it.
I’m writing this on February’s full moon, the snow moon. I’ve been using the full moon to check in with myself each month; I take some extra time journalling and I figure out what’s driving me forward and what’s holding me back.

Even if you’re not a lover of astrology, I know for some it can seem too woo-woo, I think anything that encourages some self-reflection is a good thing.
Big changes are on the horizon for me and my partner right now and we’ve been counting on our intuition to guide us.
As exciting as it is, making life-changing decisions can be draining and confusing so anything we can do to pay attention to our instinct (like journalling) has been a big help.

With this in mind, you bet your bottom dollar I will be lighting candles, practising tarot and journalling this evening. Below is the deck I bought from Urban Outfitters and honestly, I only chose this one because I liked the way it looked, but it’s served me well so far.

Walking has been important to me this week; I usually get out the house and stretch my legs everyday anyway, but me and Sunday (my poochon) have been taking long walks along the cliffs and its been a good tonic for the anxiety I’ve been feeling.
I’ve been watching a lot of Love it or List it on Channel 4 recently; Good G, that show makes me cry far more than it should. I find property programmes very comforting and you can’t beat a good home-makeover.

I’m really really REALLY late to this party, but I’ve recently started watching Emma Chamberlain on YouTube and I’m absolutely loving her content. The way she is unapologetically herself is really inspiring and her home is pretty awesome too.
In my own wardrobe malfunction/fashion-related news, my favourite puffer coat broke last week so I decided to invest in a new one. I’m a big fan of a puffer coat – it lends itself well to my lifestyle, but it still looks really good.
I found a Ganni one in the sale and I’m so happy with it; the bubblegum pink brings me so much joy and the quality is second to none.
I bought it in two sizes and my husband loved it so much I’m gifting him one as an early birthday present. Is it sad to have the same coat as your partner? Answers on a postcard please.
