Hello!
I’m sitting here and my office is drenched in sun; it feels like Spring is on its way, but I know March and April can throw their curve balls at us when it comes to the weather so I’m not holding my breath.
Are you?
I wrote in an article for Wear Next about feeling absolutely done with wearing coats. I’m very much over it.

But it’s not only coats I have a gripe with, it’s my whole wardrobe. I’m reaching that ‘I have loads of clothes, but nothing to wear’ point when the seasons are changing and it can leave you feeling uninspired and all out of sorts.
I can’t help but wonder about warmer climates, take California as an example, do they feel this too?
I’ve always enjoyed a little bit of change; be that with my wardrobe, my interiors or the places I like to go on my day off.

You’ll find me moving the sofa in the living room and taking the shelves off the wall – that’s the kind of person I am.
Sometimes though, as I’m beginning to learn, we don’t need to invest in anything extra, we just need a bit of a move around and we’ll find a new appreciation for the things we already have.
Wye
Friday last week, my husband and I took a day trip to the UK’s smallest Town, Wye. We did a very hilly walk around the nature reserve and had lunch after. Even though it’s out of our way, it was definitely worth the trip. Is there somewhere you’ve been wanting to visit? Take this as your sign to go for it!

Funny Woman
I couldn’t get through Funny Woman fast enough; what a brilliant show. The 6-part series is an adaptation of Nick Hornby’s novel Funny Girl which I can’t say I’ve read, unfortunately.
I guess now I don’t need to.
My friend and I were joking about how many novels now make it onto the screen: ‘nothing’s safe,’ she said. I have to admit…she’s not wrong.
IKEA x Sabine Marcelis

I managed, thanks to my lovely pal, to get my hands on a pair of chamagne coupes from the IKEA x Sabine Marcelis collaboration, VARMBLIXT. I’ve drank out of nothing else since. It got me thinking, even though I don’t drink any alcohol, I can still buy myself fancy glasses, I don’t need an excuse.

That’s all from me this week, I’ll leave you with a couple of pretty interiors I’ve saved from Instagram.
Have a lovely rest of the week and I’ll catch you again next time.
