The weekly edit 12.03.2023
Hello Again,
I ~had~ to nab the title of this week’s edit from the book I’ve just finished, Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey; it has to be one of the funniest books I’ve read in a long time, like, laugh-out-loud kinda’ funny. I can’t recommend this one enough; I only wish it had been around to read when I was going through my break-ups. Misery loves company, after all.

Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey – Amazon £7.49
I have been burning this fireside and embers candle from Habitat non-stop. I’m sure I’ve made it known how much I want an open fire – to me it’s like the self-actualisation of a cosy lifestyle, but since I don’t have one (yet), this candle with its woody, smokey, cosy scent, has been the next best thing. It honestly smells incredible and for a large candle, its a really great price.

Fireside and embers candle – Habitat £12

Amazon Original’s Somebody I used to Know was this week’s film of choice which I would give a 3/5 rating to. Funny in parts, but difficult to believe the characters motive’s at times. Watch if you’re bored on a Sunday afternoon, but not worth staying up late for.
It’s a short one from me this time, I’m off to play with my new slow cooker, but I’ll leave you with some nice bits and pieces below.

Flora fine china side plate, 20cm – John Lewis £6

Lemon Side Plate – Daisy Tortuga £30

The lucky cat candle, pink – The Waxness £13.50

Old Tulips II – Poppy BH £250
